I forgot about the Eph. 2 passage. 1 Pet. 2 also works nicely to show that God's chosen, holy nation is the true Israel, i.e., the church. Essentially, you summed up very well what I have been studying recently in response to some premillers. To add one thing to your words, it is interesting how Revelation 20:6 says that those in the first resurrection <I>"will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with Him"</I>, and yet, Rev 1:5-6 says, <I>'To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood 6 and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father',</I> and Eph 2:5-6 says, <I>'you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus'</I>, and 1 Peter 2:9 says, <I>you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation'</I>. Thus, everything described of beleivers in Revelation 20 can easily be shown to be a present reality by looking at other scriptures. SDG Lee,
